bigQ – the Danish National Research Foundation Center for Macroscopic Quantum States is a Center of Excellence located at the Department of Physics, Technical University of Denmark. It was inaugurated in January 2018 and counts around 30 researchers, PhD students and staff. It is headed by Professor Ulrik Lund Andersen.
Our research focuses on understanding and applying quantum effects in macroscopic systems of light, diamond spins and mechanical oscillators.
